The Challenge

The goal of the project was to improve the app and website by making it more user friendly. I conducted discovery interviews, ran concept testing with new ideas and usability testing on designs. My goal was to get the user involved as early and often as possible.

The Process

My process depended on what type of methodology and research type was needed. I worked hand in hand with designers and stakeholders to make sure I was getting the right information from users and getting the most value out of their investment in research. Besides planning, conducting and presenting my research findings, part of my job included selling the value of research and educating stakeholders on what types of questions we could answer with the users..

Outcomes

I was on the Discover project for 3 years and helped them make both their app and website much more user friendly, as well as help their digital teams bring end users into their design process much more consistently. I am very proud of the work I did on this team and feel their digital presence is much stronger because of my work.
